It was an active today in the Google Glass land with this morning's announcement of an iOS MyGlass companion app being released this morning and this afternoon Update XE12 to Glass OS rolling out.   XE12 brings a new 'Wink To Capture' command to take photos.  Previously this 'wink' functionality was only available with a separate 3rd party app.  Also included in the update is the inclusion of Google's 'Hangouts' which let's the Glass user send SMS, chats or even video calls.  Finally, we've also got YouTube that allows users to upload videos taken with Glass.  That's some major new functionality baked into this latest update and we're looking forward to the inevitable tidal wave of video and picture uploads we'll be seeing from current Glass users.   There's also a new 'screen lock' that is enabled when a user takes Glass off or disables it.  There's more including the ability to ask for calorie counts and more.  Head on over to the link below for more info with the official XE12 release notes.
